- Developed and QA'd flexibility-market contract methodology as a new SEM solution type: in-product evaluator for user-defined contracts against feeder-level capacity needs (replacing an external contract-generator concept).
- Served as client-facing methodology SME for a major distribution utility on non-wires and flexibility-market evaluation, translating distribution-planning needs into evaluator inputs and risk parameters.
- Developed hourly load-profile simulators for electric boilers and industrial process heat pumps (COP as a function of temperature lift) for downstream demand and grid-impact modelling.

- Built a clustering pipeline (Pandas, scikit-learn) for VRE site selection, improving time-series representation of profiles by ~10× and cutting model runtime by ~20%.
- Coordinated with provincial governments and system operators; supported stakeholder sessions with analytics and visualizations for regulatory feedback and multi-model review.

- Designed a data-linked optimization and simulation framework for price-signal vs. direct-load-control DR, demonstrating ~8% VRE curtailment reduction and ~1.5% operational cost improvement (Energy).
- Introduced model constraints for cascading storage hydro in optimal dispatch and long-term planning (Renewable & Sustainable Energy Transition).
- Built a neural-network surrogate for expensive simulation runs, reducing evaluation time from 8+ hours to ~30 seconds (~96×) at preserved accuracy (Energy Reports).
